Part 2
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Hebrews 10:24 & 25
Here is a brief history of my life’s work:
In 1999 I made myself available to meet with individuals. I suggested materials that worked for me—then ran out to the trunk of my car to look for examples in a bin of file folders.
Soon after, I offered to meet regularly with faithful individuals. During discussions I realized a familiar pattern emerged because I kept referring to the same materials over and over.
Later I took time out to organize my materials—arranging them by past, present, future into seven chapters called SoulWork—Who I Was, Who I Am, and Who I Hope to Be. Each chapter was designed to begin with introductory notes and then move quickly to transfer ownership of the process to the individual. I set up a non-threatening comparison between the individual’s personal belief system and the Word of God—providing an opportunity to do some serious soul-searching. Eventually through thoughtful integration a draft version of a tool was created followed by a unique final product.
Then I created the SoulWork website to make distribution easier. The whole curriculum and individual chapters were available by on-line download—for use by individuals, small groups and for workshops I conducted.
In 2018 I revised SoulWork into The SoulWork Guide to Life, a paperback workbook divided into nine chapters and redesigned to be a self-directed process, available on the SoulWork website in four formats: a paperback workbook either (1) bound or (2) loose leaf—three-hole punched or on-line download by (3) individual chapters or (4) the complete workbook.
I created the new The SoulWork Guide to Life workbook to be shared with believers everywhere—to be used whenever, wherever and however God intends for extending His Kingdom here on earth. The format makes it versatile so that it can be easily rearranged for the purposes of the user. It is applicable to men and women, individuals or groups, or as a structure for mentoring.
It has been my privilege to witness the life change produced under the guidance of the Holy Spirit! To God be the glory!
